Over the years, I have traced my family lines across centuries, reconstructed lives from scattered records, and visited countless libraries and cemeteries. I have learned that the smallest details — a faded photograph, a cemetery inscription, or a brief newspaper mention—can challenge accepted versions of history, correct misinformation, and reveal connections that only emerge after records, sources, and stories have been checked from every possible angle.
